One of the fastest selling products on the internet is e-books but most people are afraid to try. There is no longer any need for delaying with the simple process detailed below. Some writers only contribute small amounts to their books, relying on hired writers to do the bulk of the work, just finishing it off themselves.
We all have areas where we are knowledgeable and this is the place researching your e-book so start by writing some articles to gauge interest in the subject; because if there is an interest, people will pay. By writing the articles it provides practice and they are easier to do but they can also be used later to help promote your book in all sorts of online areas. This is a simple process whereby the promotional articles are sent to directories for insertion; the number of views they get will provide a good indication just how much interest there is in the subject.
It is then a simple matter of writing more articles for the e-book itself, all the time working on the overall structure of it. If you are worried about the structure you should not go wrong of you follow the normal introduction section, body content and then a conclusion to the subject which might also have a helpful resources area as well. You can also increase the value of the book by adding some bonus material or sections.
Once each article has been written, place into the e-book; just how many you will ultimately require will depend on how long you want it to be. Because e-books are usually shorter than a printed version, no-one wants to read material that has been added that is not related so it is best to stay close to the topic of the book. If you stay close to the subject it will be easier for readers because computer screens are not the best medium for reading on.
As an added extra, why not supply the reader with some bonus material you have located to give added value to your e-book; this is always appreciated. You can easily write some extra articles or provide another report you have complied. Any extra material you supply will need to be worthwhile on its own and be related to your e-book subject.
